With deep roots across Oklahoma, First Bank had long been a trusted institution for individuals, families, and small businesses. As the banking landscape changed—especially in mobile and digital—so did customer expectations. The bank needed more than a facelift. It needed
a new name, identity, and an easy way to show up in people’s lives.
We partnered with First Bank to lead a full rebrand, including naming, visual identity, digital experience, and advertising. The new brand had
to be local, personal, and intuitive. It had to serve long-standing
customers while attracting new ones across the state.
APPROACH
We began with a new name: First Bank. This carried powerful weight. It made the brand feel personal and allowed it to localize—whether that meant First Bank of Tulsa or First Bank of Norman. It also underscored a deeper message: the bank’s commitment to putting customers first.
We created a design system that was clean, approachable, and digital-friendly. The mark suggests connection and steady growth—distinctive enough to stand out. Color and type were chosen for clarity and warmth across print, screen, and environmental use.
We applied the system to the bank’s two most visible platforms:
their website and customer app. The website was built around clear navigation, mobile responsiveness, and faster access to everyday tools. The mobile app UI was built for simplicity and trust—centered on the features that mattered most to users: deposits, transfers, and balances.
To introduce the new brand, we developed an awareness campaign across digital and in-branch placements. Messaging focused on real, everyday scenarios—buying a car, starting a business, saving for a first home—bringing a "Your First" message to life through local storytelling.
RESULTS
Your First Bank launched with a digital and in-person identity that felt
familiar and new. Customers responded to the clarity, friendliness, and functionality of the experience. Staff embraced the tools quickly, making the rollout smooth and scalable across locations.
Today, First Bank continues to expand across Oklahoma with a brand
built on what community banking has always promised: a sense of belonging and ease.
