Cooper Professional Education sits at the intersection of design thinking and leadership development. While their curriculum had evolved to reflect a more mature, globally-scaled offering, the brand had not. CPE needed a new identity—one that signaled clarity, energy, and purpose. One that would resonate with business leaders, international facilitators, and a growing community of alumni.

 

We helped define a new brand strategy and visual identity system that reflects the bold, rigorous, and people-first approach of CPE’s work. The updated brand unites their global footprint while honoring the creative legacy of IDEO, the organization they call home.

 

APPROACH

Our collaboration with CPE began with an in-depth discovery phase, engaging stakeholders to understand their vision and the unique value they offer. We identified that CPE’s essence lies in constructive provocation—challenging conventional mindsets to drive transformation.

 

Building on this insight, we developed a comprehensive brand identity that embodies CPE’s dynamic and forward-thinking approach. The visual system features a bold logo symbolizing progress and adaptability, complemented by a vibrant color palette and typography that convey clarity and energy. We also established guidelines for imagery and messaging to ensure consistency across all platforms.

 

 

RESULTS

With the launch of the new brand, Cooper Professional Education has a system that matches the caliber of their work. Internally, the team embraced the new tools quickly and enthusiastically. Externally, the identity provides a consistent and credible foundation to expand their reach and deepen their impact.

 

Now, whether they’re presenting to Fortune 500 executives or leading workshops in emerging markets, CPE shows up as the bold, trusted partner they’ve always been.
